The 70% that say yes clearly indicates that people are completely removed from the reason the stock market exists... which is to give companies access to large amounts of money/capital without taking on a bank (ergo a loan).
The stock market is not a casino just like running a business is not a casino (Unless you are running a casino LoL).
Its the easy access and high liquidity that turns it into a casino for average joe.
If everyone had to pass tests and also commit to longer time frames I can assure you there would be less money lost and smarter (well though out) decisions made.
