passive, exactly....re the superfunds ??? one would prefer industry funds aka = more conservative versus some of the 'cowboys' who allow shares to be shorted type funds...
and most of the wealthy people 'old money types' out there, put a roof of their heads firstly.........and then bought into shares....they could also use the equity in props to leverage other investments....
but gen y and x play a different game....buy shares and hope to make enough to pay cash for the house....they don't like debt.
so its all coming undone....which is a shame for them....and it will take them longer to get anything now, after losing so much equity.......
politics comes to the fray in this matter..........current govt seems reluctant to do anything at all, except for a review that takes a year or more....
former govt was more decisive....specifically costello....
???? I personally would rather see costello in charge of financials matters
