paid a premium to what? They paid 25c (a notional premium) and 2 weeks later the share price had doubled - wow what timing; investment geniuses!! they paid 46c and the share price never was under that at that time (so they got a discount) and a week or so later hey presto the shares are at 60c for a paper profit of another 30% - wow what a coincidence. Some other people could agree with you what a fantastic gesture that was - by the management of BUX handing out shares under value to NBH and virtually guaranteeing a profit.
Sounds like existing holders of BUX that missed out on those gains are the ones that got screwed. I could imagine a few unpleasant lunches in Shanghai when they came up with absolutely zilch at Widowmaker and the SP dropped to 30c.
Do you even know what "eat your heart out means"? Somehow I think not.
