I'm currently investing in three SPP's....the difference in the HC posts between them is stark...two forums are exemplary imo...one is filled by poisonous venom of only just a few ...for the record..
Company A's reasons - highly profitable and in growth stage
The funds raised via the Placement and the SPP will be used to fund the purchase of three new commercial property sites for future data centre developments: Sydney (S3), Melbourne (M3), Perth (P2) (collectively, the New Sites), together with the initial development of the P2 site and general corporate purposes.
Company B's reasons - highly speculative, not cash flow positive or profitable - growth stage emerging
Net proceeds from the Offer will be used to fund the progression of the XXXX Cobalt Project (Project), including:
Completion of the Project Scoping Study (already well advanced, due June 2018);
Completion of a Pre-Feasibility Study;
Resource infill and extension drilling program;
Exploration of additional targets identified across the broader Project area, including newly acquired licences;
Commencement of a Bankable Feasibility Study (assuming positive Scoping Study/Pre-Feasibility Study outcomes); and
Working capital
AHZ - highly speculative, not cash flow positive or profitable - growth stage emerging
The Placement is expected to complete on 16 May 2018. Funds raised under the SPP, together with the funds raised under the Placement, will be used to provide funding support for:
• ADAPT pipeline development acceleration;
• TAVR project development; and
• general working capital.
....perhaps the last dot point in each is just an opportunity for companies to have some degree of flexibility in how they use those funds....being hung up about the utterance of a few words by a CEO that for any number of reasons may or may not have been realistic is unfortunate but is not the end of the world imo...cheap shots are easy to make and imo need to be ignored
