@DrStrangelove; the USA is beginning to resemble other militaristic, totalitarian regimes including China, Russia and North Korea.

The level of corruption throughout the USA was partially exposed during the GFC, by the MeToo and 'Black Lives Matter' protests and is being updated on a daily basis by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists [ICIJ].

It's claims to be a social democracy are being shredded and the rate at which Americans slaughter each other a reminder that roughly half of them want a return to governance as Confederate states vs Northerners.

The USA's economic reality is that it's $34 Trillion in $Debt even as it resources conflicts in the Middle East, throughout Africa, the Ukraine and Taiwan. Meantime it's core public infrastructure is crumbling.

The puerile negative tit-for-tat crap which defines the US Congress is anything but 'model democracy', it's so infested by self-serving 'powerful obbyists' its more like a Crime syndicate at work.

As for Australia - I've my fingers crossed that in May 2022 the rest of Australia demonstrates awareness of why seats like Indi removed the incumbent Liberal MP and opted for someone as brilliant as Helen Haines - our fantastic Independent who's already had to withstand the absolute CRAP that's been directed at her by the likes of the Liberal Party and the Australian Christian Lobby.
