On this forum some posters strongly supportive of Netanyahu's Regime argue that even mentioning the phrase 'God's Chosen People' or 'The Promised Land' is anti-Semitic. Their comments come across as an attempt to muzzle robust debate.
on this forum some people who don’t support Netanyahu label as anti semitic the flawed use of “gods chosen people” as a way of denigrating Jews.
there is absolutely no need for the phrase. It is used intentionally as a means of denigration. It is misusing the biblical references and it creates a gross generalisation in a secular sense for something that has a specific meaning in a religious sense
you ongoing references to this matter mean that some chief has been hit. If you are interested in “robust” debate then you really don’t need to resort to that type of discrediting and you would be ok with people having different views on the matter.
that you misrepresent other posters view is not robust debate - it is intentionally deceptive
