yes the term antisemitic is clearly defined as the whole Palestinian region from southern Lebanon to the southern corner of the mediterranean. its a root language ancestry. nothing particularly about the Jews.

one would think such a person who aspires to be PM would be aware of the definitions of the words he uses.

this is the latest attempt to deny anti semitism. It was a term coined to refer specifically to Jews. It has not been used to refer to anyone from the area.

to now times it as if it is somehow meaningless is for what purpose ? I’d suggest it is to diminish the Millenia long hatred for Jews.
