Yes, the US Fed can print money by pressing a few keys, but that will drive up inflation - as it has done for the last 4 years.

Further, major countries are de-dollarizing, which makes even harder to print more money or refinance existing debt, without paying higher interest rates.

The days when the US can print as much $$$$$$$$ out of thin air as they want, and expect the world to absorb it, are gone.

No you are wrong. Around 60% of global debt is denominated in USDs and I expect that a much higher proportion of the US National Debt is denominated in USDs.

21% is denominated in Euros, 6% Yen , 5% GBP and 2% Renminbi.

The Putin Ruble seems to be invisible in above ground transactions.
