Amazing how not one of the get up group experts have never mentioned that it was Kevin Rudd as boss adviser to the premier
who knocked the extra dam behind the Gold Coast on the head (1989). This was also part of the election campaign not to build
this dam. Once again great foresight by airconditioned desk jockeys.
Wonder how much flooding it would have saved let alone the $$$$$$ spent on desal plants.
