The 'brain in a box' speculation is indeed an old one.
I am well aware it is not testable scientifically.
I am also aware that science simply makes the assumption it is NOT the case.
From that point some progress may be made?
Hence posting here rather than in the 'science' threads.
So, to clarify...
Assuming we are not simply a brain in a box what might be telltale signatures the world we know is a computer simulation?
The observation principle?
Math seems to be the language of the universe... and...
The fact 'error correcting codes' has turned up in that math... the codes computers have used for some decades?
The universe seems to be digital?
The weird quantum world?
