Quotes are now updated automatically. There is no need to click refresh to get the latest quote information (for example, last price, trade time, bid/ask, volume, absolute/relative change and several other data points). Standard delay times apply: 15 minutes for NASDAQ, 20 minutes for NYSE and Amex. Real-time continuous streaming quotes are available through our premium service.

Currently, the streaming quotes feature set covers:

* Yahoo! Finance front page
* Quote summary pages as well as all the associated pages
* Multi-quote pages (when you type several symbols into the "Get Quotes" box)
* Portfolio pages
* Index components
* Market times information (top of all pages) streaming 24x7.
* All international data streams. For example you get streaming data for Australia ticker when Australian market opens.
* Real-time quotes (if you are a premium real-time quotes subscriber)

User Preferences You can turn streaming quotes on or off with a simple click of the mouse. These preferences are set within your cookie; thus, they are not linked to your user ID.

* To turn OFF. Click on the word ON which appears to the right of "streaming quotes:", and it will change to OFF.
* To turn ON. Click on the word OFF, which appears to the right of "streaming quotes:", and it will change to ON.

Please note: Streaming stops after 25 minutes of inactivity. To restart streaming, just bring focus to the browser window.
