CMC platform goes down regularly
Commsec is great for reliability but just learnt today they screw you in gap down events and hold up orders for being too far from last traded price so I'm going to have to change.
What does everyone use outside of those? My conditions that a broker needs :
1. Shares must be held in my name(so rules out mobs like IG) - and not interested in CFDs
2. Must have a pro trader platform like IRESS
3. Must have chi-x data/access (does Nabtrade have this yet?)
4. Has to be very reliable, can't have the platform crashing during market crashes and stuff
