Your point of view on the non-manipulation of VAU's price is respectable, but it would take more to justify it solely by hedges.
Known hedges at the merger with a POG at $3,500-3,700. How do you explain that with a POG at $5,100-5,200, VAU's price is still not at the level of the price at the merger, with, as Samscout so aptly explained, an increase in cash and a bright future ?
But, above all, explain to us the daily sales of millions of shares after the close, sales at 95% below the price paid during the session, as if the SP should not take off at all...?
Logically, with the hedges gradually coming to an end and with all the elements favorable to gold mines and a quarterly report which should, barring any unpleasant surprises, be excellent, VAU's SP should finally take off and swap its propeller for a jet engine...!
