Like you, I like to follow certain management and BOD's. Some to exclude my involvement with them while mostly to look closer at where they have gone to possibly invest. Comparing 4-5 years to 25 years in non mining investments doesn't compare.
Do you have Phd.? If so, is the Phd. in the name Elephant?

These are a few from my "Black Book" at the low end of the pecking order but this approach has helped me in the past. I just don't have much intel in the mining side of thing...yet but am slowly building from the foundations. These people will become industry leaders at some point if they choose. Keep in mind that "Industry Leaders" are not all created equal. Some are there because of the Peter Principle.
PS As my brother always taught me (two mentions in one night, his ego will be exploding) you never choose your own nickname, some try and it rarely works out as they plan.
