New hedges...? Good question, and maybe someone has the answer ? With each passing day, we understand better why the REDs are happy to have been saved by LT and we understand better the frustration of the SLRs who see the profits they could have made from the increase in the POG pass under their noses ! That said, we must congratulate the management of RED who managed to sell their product AND their hedges to LT and we must also blame us, the SLRs, for not having left at the time of the merger and not having been attentive to these damn hedges ! To those who might tell us that we should trust the excellent MD - LT under whose leadership the SLR price had made a huge increase, I would remind you that at that time, the POG had risen from around $1,200 to $2,500, an increase even greater than the one we are currently experiencing...! In other words, it is the POG that makes the MDs and not the other way around !!!
