What do we know about the reputation of the company Dr Reddy.

While I like the Indian people I have had very poor results doing business with them as suppliers of mechanical engineering products from three Indian companies in the Mumbai area.

The common trait has been the same for the three.
IE; They make very strong claims about their competence and reliability. However, the product usually ends up shipping late and when you get it the quality is rarely up to their claimed standard. They produce impressive QA documentation but their in-plant quality assurance is very inconsistent. We found we needed to be very hard on them to get results.

I have since sold the company who used those Indian products. They are still going very well but the company does no longer deal with the Indians due to the difficulties outlined above.

Dr Reddy may well be a very good supplier but do we know it to be true.

ACL has certainly fallen away since the approval. I sold half of my shares. They do not seem to have any answers.
