Interesting idea - but I don't think it holds up. BOQ today just announce a record profit, up 46%.
Automotive is a very small part of FCL now, it's primarily rural services and agriculture. It's true the CEO has left - but I don't think Les was living up to expectations.
I've been concerned about FCL ever since Alan Newman left, to be honest. Now there was a guy who could pull an extra 10 or 20 million in profit from nowhere.
I've kept up my stake in FCL because I think when the drought breaks - properly - across the country, FCL will be a major beneficiary.
