Thing is, son, it was always a big ask once 006.875 was taken out. I'm thrilled with the final result, well, not thrilled, but it's the best 'we' could hope for. We have a Labor government with a mandate to do nothing, which is a lot better than a Liberal government with a mandate to do nothing and facing a green Senate. Anyway, there is no way that this government can survive a full term, the more you read about the independents' machinations the more you realize that we are now in political cloud-cuckoo land - Jack Nicholson will be popping up somewhere any day now.
