If you have a look at the summary, you will see that MMJ is not alone when it comes to a falling SP performance.
And the falling performance is not restricted to just ASX cannabis stocks.
Check the Canadian Cannabis listings or the EQM Global Cannabis Index Performance.
The point is, many are blaming MMJ, Harvest and Embark management for the low performance, but the reality is that the industry as a whole is not living up to all the bloated hype we all fell for in the early days.
We have just entered the sink or swim stage of growth where as many so called experts are predicting takeovers will be expected during the year.
Where I'm concerned is that if HVT sinks or is taken over, we won't see much of a rise in the MMJ SP for quite some time.
What I do like though is that HVT and Embark are well aware and have shared their strategy to weather the storm and MMJ are looking to take advantage once the storm is behind us & the industry is in calmer waters.
This is how I see it anyway.
