I think there is logic in the premise that if you are vaccinated, you become less sick, sick for a shorter period, carry lower viral loads so will end up shedding less and therefore you reduce the propensity to spread it.
This logic is similar to the mask debate at the wallet stages of the outbreak. If you are masked you end up spraying less..or inhaling less. it’s logical.
