I would not be averse to having a booster shot, why not? If it assists me fight off an infection should I get one, all good from where I sit.

A mate told me his son in the Army, very fit and in his early thirties along with some of his mates reacted quite badly to the Pfizer, crook for a couple of days...but good now. It seems young people can have reactions to a vaccine.

Just putting it out there, maybe that's because we older folk grew up in a world full of disease and viruses that have been controlled or eliminated now and we have built other immunities. Who knows whether the fact we have been exposed to dozens of variants of the Flu, common cold, maybe even one of the previous Chinese viruses has increased our resilience.

I am sure some people have got the jab then gone home and sat quietly waiting for a "reaction". Then when they felt a bit "different" likely due to stressing themselves out, they blamed the vaccine...I know a couple of hypochondriacs that will always be sick or have some other malady to complain about.

If one did feel a bit jaded or off colour after being jabbed, and Pharmas and Medico's pre warned of some having reactions, just think what a small price that was to pay when you consider what your reaction to a real covid infection may have been. If a vaccine caused such a reaction and it is not the virus but merely a trigger for the body to form anti bodies against infection...what havoc would the real virus have wreaked?

Maybe any posters who have been infected with covid after vaccination could relay their experience?

I don't know anyone who has had Covid, and I'd be pretty certain no one does ????
But if anyone does please post the experience!
Having said that Djokovic got Covid and had no reaction I have read ?
