There is no love for small cap oilers.
Especially when pay dirt is so far away.
FAR and CVN are probably the best long term plays especially with a takeover premium hanging over their heads.
With US$50 oil still the norm and might be for the next 2 years I would not think the SP should really be of concern.
These 2 stocks are a long term play and investors nowadays are chasing the next big thing.
Unloved?.....very much so but that's the way it is.
Dorado will be some months yet I suspect but even then you have to go through the processes to bring these fields online.
I cannot see a sentiment change anytime soon and for those who are locked in these small caps and don't want to sell like I am its just a bottom drawer investment.
No amount of good news will move these stocks unless the SOI are relatively low.
Its no good complaining as that's the environment we are now in.
Its starting to look like a good buy and hold again though at these prices.
I mean a few years ago when the POO was up there I bought in about the 8 cent mark just on Pheonix.
The oppies were about 4 cents.
Everyone that sold made a killing but sadly times have changed.
