Just noticed this but the COO Claire Kaufman and the chairman of the board Graeme Kaufman look like they are related. It could be entirely coincidental but Claire is the the age where she could be Graeme's daughter. She also did not have any real biotech pharma experience prior to coming to PAR. In fact, she was practicing as a veterinary surgeon in Hong Kong immediately prior to this. I have to wonder how someone with that kind of background leverages that into a COO role at promising upstart biotech. Is Claire Graeme's daughter? Did he just hand pick his daughter with no experience for this role?
Even if she isn't Graeme's daughter, is a former vet surgeon with little the person we as shareholders can trust to run the complicated US FDA Phase III trials? These are notoriously difficult to run and often require very experienced testing personnel due to the FDA's stringent rules.
Someone please tell me or show me how and why I'm wrong.
