Is there some significance to VWAP?

It seems there is someone out there in the market that wants EGO's VWAP to remain within the $0.007 to $0.008 range.
In my experience (limited though it may be) but I have been through a few instances of this type of SP activity which has resulted with a takeover, the appearance of a large investor or another significant event which may or may not be in a shareholders best interest.
Only time will tell, but there are some significant events that may affect EGO's SP coming up this quarter which also may explain the activity.
