There has been a change in sentiment for some Gold Stocks over the last 2 weeks and some posters have been canny enough to get on board and make some nice profits. SLR is up 60% from 35c in around 2 weeks, a very nice jump with momentum still there!

There have always been some stocks that are "unloved" for long periods of time. Troy Resources drove posters on HC nuts because the announcements were great, but the stock did not take off for a long time. But it then rose to $5 and with 9 years straight of paying dividends to date.

ABU appears to be in the same boat. The market doesn't like its story at the present time. And it may take a while for its sp to begin rising. Long Term I believe it will hit the 7c to 10c+ mark later this year, if all goes to plan.

You still have remember that most Gold Stocks are 60% to 80% down from their highs. At 82c Troy is only worth 16% of what it was! Those who bought at $5 or $4 must be having sleepless nights. There are a lot of Gold Stock owners feeling severe pain at the present time.

But there are several posters here making good profits on other stocks in the meantime. Are those who are selling out of ABU, or selling part of their holdings, and playing for short term gains on other stocks, making a smart move?

At 2.1c, ABU would appear to have a lot of upside if all goes to plan and market sentiment changes. Also there is the very strong possibility of new extensions being found to the existing Gold discoveries, and positive news to come from its partners drilling away at Lake McKay and North Arunta. At 6.3c, ABU will have risen 300%, and there are a number of brokers predicting at least 6c for the sp this year. How many other Gold stocks have that potential this year?

Some positive announcements from ABU early in the New Year will add confidence for ABU holders, entice others to buy the stock, and map out more clearly the path to full production!

We wait in nervous anticipation for these announcements, and the sooner that they are made the better!
