I don't know what to think. Seems that because they reckon that they have 150,000 people less than what they would have, that means that they will have a housing crisis. Wouldn't 150,000 extra people need somewhere to live, thus driving a housing crisis? Or do they need to have 150,000 more people to come and build the houses and apartments where those same 150,000 people will live?
I think we are all being played for fools. The answer to any and all problems seems to be "we need more humans". More humans place more demand on scarce resources as far as I can see. They'll eat more fish from the ocean, they'll drink scarce water, they will put more pressure on the electricity grid, they'll need to use the under pressure health and hospital systems. The politicians are in the pocket of the builders and the real estate agents and the property industry in general if you ask me; they'll tell you that night is day if there is money in it for them.
