Quite simply, we have had some aggressive shorting over the last few weeks. Today was probably the worst. Need to wait to see the actual figures for confirmation, but I expect it to be very grim. A lot of stop losses were hit on the way down. Many people likely caught off by the abrupt change once the shorting began a little after open.

We also likely have some genuine selling mixed in with the confusion of the 15% ownership (that AVZ never had - but legally had first rights to secure apparently) seemingly being awarded elsewhere to yet another Chinese company. So there maybe a legal battle coming and people don't want anything to do with that.

The usual stuff with AVZ. In a month we will be likely cruising past our ATH once again.
