That image wuzzle1 of the Vulcan type gattling gun, reminds me of a patent that metalstorm has for a Belt Fed Machine Gun, remember that the Phalanx fires at a rate of fire of around 5000 rounds per minute, the BFMG that metalstorm has patents on has a rate of fire ROF of 48000 rounds per minute, it doesn't have to fire that fast, in fact the ROF is variable from 1 to 48000 rounds per minute, and the ammo is specially designed, it has two rounds in the one cartridge and each can be independantly fired, or they can fire a split second after each other, which gives the mach 5/50 effect. this can be used in two ways, either an increased range, or an increased KE effect or both, this would make the Phalanx look like a water pistol.
