Shareholders are between the devil and the deep blue sea.If Gunns transfers assets into the mill vehicle then presumably those funds are locked up for several years and are not turning a profit in the interim. If on the other hand a willing financier cannot be found those funds will go to clearing substantial debts incurred over many years of mismanagement..Either way shareholders are not likely to see any dividends for years and possibly never.....

If it is I wont be letting my trees go,this almost mirrors great southern, besides this time there is a class action with Bendigo and the directors of GTP and there associates, plus seeing that Gunns is the responsible entity for these MIS scamms now, surely they woudn't be stupid enuff to ask me to vote.
BUT consider this, who purports to own the majority of plantations in the GTP scams,no prizes for guessing that it is the ANZ,therefore apart from a small amount of votes from tree owners,Gunns may well pull it off or should I say the ANZ.
Which leaves me to conclude that the big Insto's could have a strong presence with the share price.

    Just speculating----
    cheers DYOR
