The funniest part about it all is that ASM & South Korea are set to become major beneficiariess of international political point scoring, diplomatic bungling, double standards, propaganda from all sides, hypocrisy & also largely due to economic activity & competition being treated as a quasi battlefield - most political leaders & major businesses have created for themselves the present situation where Chinese interests have emerged to rule the REE markets over the last few decades

Political & business leaders of Western economies & multinational businesses have been addicted to perpetual outsourcing & off shoring - to make the most of cheap labour, mining, processing & general manufacturing conditions that would not be possible in their own countries or head office jurisdictions - in the never ending quest for increasing profits & decreasing costs by any means neccessary

Politics is indeed full of pretenders & populists

Your point on the divisive nature of political debate is the ultimate catch 22 of democracy & to a point the supposedly free markets of capitalism where everyone wants to be their own business & where sales channels are often rewarded excessively & disproportionately to primary producers

If only their was much more collaboration & cooperation in most fields & human endeavours & a lot less competition & division stemming from intolerance & the circus of consumerism & populist politics where greed, insecurity & fear are easily targeted & exploited

No escaping politics or market forces or stupidity unless willing to try & live off grid, isolated & detached from the relatively cushy existence of modern life in Australia

Too many people, too much hot air & most mindless sheeple sleepwalking through their daily lives trying to attain dreams promised by mainstream commercial interests where continual consumption & little sprinkles of novelty are enough to bedazzle & distract from the virtual chains most of us are trapped in

Still - I guess the current state of things means REE based technologies will continue to be in high demand & modern living will become ever more reliant on the metals & magnets & alloys ASM is set to produce in commercial quantities from KMP in 2022

So lucky to live in sleepy Australia in the 21st century & to be invested in ASM
