is this a statistical record ?

ine is due to announce it's latest monthly nta valuations soon enough and i expect them to show nta at circa 40% discount to the current share price. before cgt tax advantages i might add. i have never known a fund to sell so cheaply as this at any time, anywhere apart from those distressed and overstretched. ine is not such a lame duck but rather a nil debted indian fund invested in the top and middle class stocks on the indian mkt. with india under my belt for a recent visit i put it ahead of china for stability and banking controls. the growth story is already known so why the big discount ? no one is interested in this one and neither do they seem to understand it. the directors have noticed their conundrum and have put in place methods to correct the anomaly by calling a meeting to allow the payment of 5 cents a share from capital and future divis of 7% per ann based on the nta. if this fails then the fund could be wound up. that's fireworks in time for sure, especially for such a soild fund as is invested in india. the options have been underwritten so the cash from capital will not mean any shares need to be sold for this. 40 and teddy might well be crazy but not so crazy as to let this one loose.

on another note, do not underestimate and i repeat, do not underestimate the eu's commitment to the greek, portuguese and spanish crisis. nor underestimate the respective gvts for getting things under control. the bottom has been reached imo and from here we'll only get stronger. gold will fall by $200 an oz soon enough once all this sinks in. 40's making a short to mdm term u turn on inflation moving up as the ecb has announced it's not going to print more money. money will be very tight but rates will stay low. for a yr or so at least. spain is going to pile it's banks into fewer entities so that will help too.

the bull mkt is intact and will begin to race ahead by sept.
