There were a series of team departures, changes in responsibilities and extension of the L/S and MN strategies to take in global positions. All of these were disruptive to the research effort. Justin admits that in hindsight, these were variously unfortunate (team departures to competitors), premature (changes in responsibilities) and overly aggression (higher global exposure). I'm not making excuses for their performance. I'm just providing a bit more of a perspective on what's been going on internally.
