re: trading results. Keep at it Doc.....if you can survive a while longer without wiping yourself out you'll come out the other end smiling.

I was a little more gutsy (some would say stupid) than most in the way I backed myself against the market........after studying my butt off and learning all I could re the stockmarket I decided I really didn't have the capital to make a splash so I started my trading on the SPI futures with a $10k account around about the stage you're at (while I was at Uni).......lost 15% of my account in my sleep on my first trade!! (after having made 10,000% p.a. paper trading!!LOL) But I was back in there the next day determined to improve. And believe me......if you survive the SPI for more than a few months then you quickly become very good at risk management at the very least.

Basically if you put in the hard yards, LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES and have an ounce of analytical skill and the ability to make productive change to YOUR trading system then there's light at the end of the tunnel (and not an oncoming train!). Your thirst for knowledge and admission that you have much to learn (as we all do) has me thinking you'll be one of the survivors.

    Best of luck.

    Ed.
