    As there is no acceptable testing of genetics, required as proof of aboriginality, no following up on those who profess to identify as aboriginal and as far as I’m aware no significant penalties in place for wrongfully claiming to identify as aboriginal.

    I don’t think it matters if you and me judge his appearance to indeterminate, OC.

    He could pass for a Canadian First Nations person, mixed Asian, Pacific Islander or anything apart from perhaps African as well as having a recent dose of white fella genetics mixed in.

    I wouldn’t say he has much in the way of the full blood features that I’ve seen in my travels north or the Torres Strait Islanders that I’ve met.
