hilldweller - I had a similar experience a few months back. I had an order in the market at the price I wanted. I was at the head of the queue for a few days. All of a sudden sales went through at the price I was asking. When I queried this with my broker I was informed that if a new buyer/seller came in and stated a sale " At Market ", they would have preference. It didn't impress me !! After trading shares for 57 years I have learned to try to adapt to constant changes in the way things happen. Have a good 2020. Riv
