AN AFP spokesman confirmed yesterday that it had been informed last week by the Dept of Immigration of an allegation of sexual assault on an inmate at the camp.The man is believed to have been moved to a protective unit for his safety.....This is a serious matter and it is alarming the media are not reporting more widely on this matter ...if it is true all Australians should be concerned about at the calibre of these people seeking Australian citizenship with no papers to allow a check of their backgrounds to be carried out.
