I totally understand where you are coming from, but as a self funded retiree the one decent benefit you get is NO TAX on earnings from $1.9m invested in your Super fund, and if one was smart you have a 2 person fund which takes that out to $3.8m invested and pay no tax on those earnings.
Looking forward to the day when I can get on that train, hopefully the rules remain the same or indexed to a higher amount.
