when speculators outweigh hedgers 1000 to 1, the tail starts waging the dog ie the price has NOTHING to do with supply & demand of the physical product ..... this is clearly evident, because the physical is never delivered & in the case of silver, for example, there has never been enough physical mined in the history of the world to satisfy the outstanding futures contracts at any one time.

Speculators in futures markets have completely perverted the original reason for those market's inception.
As a speculator it is not surprising that you defend the act & until some sense is restored to the rules, you are free to do so & kudos to you if you are turning a $ from it.
