On the one hand, advisers won't be able to jump ship without liability while companies like CAF cop all the penalties. This is an immediate positive as CAF is so undervalued.
Longer term, CAF will have to adjust its business model to be more like Shadforths...but given that it was sold for $670mln...that's perhaps not a bad thing.
