It has just reduced license fees for the commercial television networks. Even they have been surprised. Why would the government do something like this, with no apparent value for money justification, or policy sense. I am wondering if TLS is the main target here.... This action is likely to impact Foxtel competitiveness and profitability. The Government wants TLS to divest Foxtel. But, surely, not by any means...
is this legal?
