Hi bulltearer,

Seeing how our folks live in retirement is a real good reason to get motivated at an early age.
Can't imagine that it would be a good feeling to live on the gov't pension without any funds behind you from the start.
Some just give up on super thinking it is all too hard (maybe a bit like giving up cigarettes) to hard and no will power.
At age 46 you seem content with your super/ retirement efforts. The real winner will be you, simply because you made some sacrifices and made the effort to do a bit more other than what your employer is required to do.
