Don't be so sure about Tabcorp not getting involved.

TTS offer of $14 cash or 4.33 TTS shares which equates to $14.25.

UTB closed at $15.71 after touching $16.08 which is a substantial premium to offer. Market obviously expecting a rival bid.

Agree UTB trading at a high PE however would have to be significant cost saving synergies in a UTB-TAH merger.

Good growth in TAH machine monitoring sytems however this is a very small part of their business.

Can't see TAH sitting on their hands on this one. Expect them to get involved.
