Hawkley's licences are located in the Dnieper Donets Basin.Australian biotechnology company Incitive has acquired a 100% interest in UK-based Hawkley Oil & Gas from Ukraine Investments, Ukraine Gas Investments, Ballure Trading and certain founding individuals. Hawkley Oil and Gas is a London-based oil and gas exploration and development company with assets in Ukraine. The purchase consideration will be paid through the issue of 153,826,925 fully paid ordinary shares and 32,962,963 performance shares. With this acquisition, Incitive intends to to change the focus of its activities to oil & gas exploration and development.

Hawkley Oil & Gas acquired two licences in the Dnieper Donets Basin through the public tender process. The licences are for 5 years for Exploration and Pilot Production. These licences are convertible to 20 year production licences upon fulfilment of the work programme. The Company Hawkley recently commenced drilling operations at the first target on the Sorochynska Licence. The well #201 was spudded in November 2009. The well is a twin with the well 110 which previously produced from the B18b horizon. The target depth is 4250m.
