it looks to me that despite quite a few valuations , the current share price is being driven by demand, and is well above various valuations. Morningstar have WES valued somewhere in the $30,s . So I am wondering if there is a major company accumulating to get access to a large number of Coles shares after the split. Which will be followed by a private takeover, followed by better management and increased market share and profitability , followed by an IPO. All far fetched , I know, but stranger things have happened . Could it be an Aldi, Costco , or that other big German company, or somebody else ?
