You have already pretty much got it worked out with your observations..
As DD mentioned it can be useful as a "scanner" of sorts but if you are relying on it for what to buy and when - forget it.
It is good as a "sentiment" indicator but you need to find your own set-ups to trade.
There are some really good posters who will share info and answer any questions for people looking to learn - usually in the pre-market or AM lounge.
I like it because working from home can be isolating - and despite the ridiculous ramping - there is a sense of community going on and a fair bit humour. If nothing else you can connect with a bunch of people who are going through the same struggles, frustrations, highs and lows as you are..
