The answer to all these problems are quite simple.
Simply put, spend wisely.
I rarely buy anything from the two majors...my dollar gets given to the independents, such as IGA, or the local small business owner...that way I contribute to giving them at least some chance of being competitive against Coles and Woolworths, who I detest.
And secondly, where possible, I buy Australian products.
Now we just need everyone to do it.
