We heard this request before when I stated my intention to post this thread and here we are discussing a lengthy submission I followed through upon my word and here we discuss what is appearing to be something that does need some degree of awareness and thought
.
Obviously research and compiling takes time. So people can see the sources Ive been through. So of course youll need to wait until I do so and it wont be done in hours.
I am asking for thoughts on a solution. I am not a mining expert. I have asked the owner what he thinks but hes evaded answering several times so why dont you ask gbb yourself?.
Koolan (not Koollgan if its missed on searches) would pump FRESH sea water after a recent collapse and a differing mineral profile.
Given the more volcanic nature of the Greenlandic region the soils do host other constituents of concern thats unlikely to be found in the Kimberly and would offer some variation there.
Despite that Koolan was blamed for considerable environmental damage in doing so as shown so I dont think its really the best comparator to make.
Koolan Island mine flooding is an environmental disaster for Kimberley
CoastGreens Member of Parliament, Robin Chapple is absolutely appalled at the environmental disaster on Koolan Island with the Mt Gibson iron ore mine flooding yet again.“How many times does this mine have to flood before the problem is fixed properly?” Mr Chapple asked.“This is a classic example of the mismanagement of a mine that will now severely impact on our marine life in
Kimberley!https://www.robinchapple.com/koolan-island-mine-flooding-environmental-disaster-kimberley-coastA
section of the Koolan Island iron ore mine off the Kimberley coast of WA is now flooded to sea level after it’s sea wall collapsed on Tuesday. No one was injured by the breach and all non-essential operations were immediately suspended. It’s the third time in a month that the wall has been compromised with the latest slump bringing the wall down to below the tide mark, allowing seawater to completely flood the 2km long
pit.

My education allows me some potential insight but as I stated its in a similar field. Beyond I owe no further interest in identification as it matters not given a concern equally identified by someone potentially absent even logical thought when you have a mine full of water meters from a sea/fjord
As you are a holder how about taking a look yourself at a solution over not?
