Two questions that I would like answers to can't be answered by my doing further research.
1. Has EPM got permission to pump out the pit into the sea?
2. Has whatever GoG department is responsible for industrial health and safety given permission for the pit to be dug deeper.
If the answers to those two question are not clear cut then I don't think EPM should be distracted from its work elsewhere in the world, let alone part with a large chunk of cash it could be using elsewhere.
