The empty pit was an aerial photo in 1960 showing the one pit (the one I posted on the 10 cent party chat). Now that put has been filled with water since 1984 (google earth earthengine.google.com/timelapse then search for ivittuut) from what I can tell. Though this leads me to believe that you are cherrypicking hurdles EPM needs to solve.
Now disclosure for me, I don't care too much about Greenland. I stumbled on EPM and it's Uranium potential in devils elbow and manganese in Mary Valley. I still think this is what it's EPMs bread and butter and Greenland is the icing on the cake.
This image is the entire tenement for EPM, it includes quite a bit more than one tiny pit, you don't balance your argument by taking into account the rest of the tenement. What if EPM abandons the pit, and makes a new one or goes underground in the many many hills surrounding the pit, commercialises all the tailings.
You're 'research' is more just looking at any opportunity to down ramp a share which wasn't targeted by a government to win an election in their country. Every post you've made essentially compared EPM to GGG, where GGG has ZERO AUST tenements, EPM has 4 AUST projects across QLD and NT.
You're only laser focus on negatives in ivittuut, which is a shame since you should put some of your efforts in looking at the other tenements EPM possesses. Again wait for a JORC report and an announcement on Ivituut from EPM instead of making assumptions. The pit could be troublesome, it could be super convenient and the world's best mine. Who knows, no one on HC does, we just have to wait until we heard back from geologists on the ground after they conduct a JORC report.
