Well we know why they packed up the pit historically. But what isnt answered is why the fluorite was avoided in the cryolite left in the pit. Instead they went to the effort of digging up waste tailings in hopes in finding more instead. I dont think its a conspiracy. But I might suspect there may be a reason considering its this obvious. Just seems very odd and mine would do that.
